Biñan cop shot dead inside PAC
TWO unidentified gunmen killed a member of Biñan City Police while the victim was on duty inside his post at a Police Assistance Center (PAC) 5 located in Barangay Timbao, Biñan City, Laguna on Wednesday night.
Biñan City Police Chief P/Lt. Col. Arnel Pagulayan said the victim was identified as PSSg. Robert Torregrosa.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Qualimed Hospital Sta. Rosa City after he sustained several bullet wounds from an unknown caliber gun used by the suspects.
Pagulayan said the incident transpired at about 9:00 a.m. while Torregrosa was inside PAC 5.
Based on the initial investigation, the two suspects escaped toward Loma in Biñan City on board a motorcycle.
“Mayroon na tayong suspects na hindi muna natin pangalanan habang isinasagawa pa ang follow-up operation namin,” Pagulayan said.
