BIANCA Umali is gaining great feedback for her portrayal of Farrah, Dennis Trillo’s youngest bride in the hit GMA Telebabad drama series, “Legal Wives”. Ever since her character appeared on the show, the ratings got higher. And now that Alice Dixon as Amirah, the first wife, has also returned in the story, the show got even more intriguing.

The second wife is played by Andrea Torres as Diane and now that the three wives are all present, expect that they are always bickering about the roles they play in Dennis’ heart, thus making his life as Ismael even more complicated.

“We are all very thankful to the viewers for supporting our show,” says Bianca. “Talaga namang gabi-gabi ay sinusubaybayan nila ang takbo ng kuwento ng tatlong misis na magkakasama sa isang bubong at hindi magkasundo. Huwag po kayong bibitaw dahil mas marami pang nakatutuwang eksenang mangyayari sa ‘Legal Wives’ at mas magiging komplikado pa ang mga sitwasyon.”

Aside from her accomplishments as an actress, Bianca is really also making a name for herself in the music scene. Her debut track ‘Kahit Kailan’ was nominated at the 34th Awit Awards for ‘Best Performance for a New Female Recording Artist’ and ‘Best Engineered Recording.’

Now, she has come up with a new single about heartbreak, “Itigil Mo Na”. She really pours her heart out with so much emotion in a moving song about letting go titled ‘Itigil Mo Na’ released recently by GMA Music.

‘Itigil Mo Na’ paints the sad story of unrequited love familiar to all, rendered in a soothing and groovy musical arrangement with modern sensibilities. It is about a girl who’s falling for a guy who happens to be in love with someone else.

Touching but good for easy listening, the song was written by award-winning writer-director-singer-songwriter Njel de Mesa. Through its heartfelt lyrics, Bianca hopes to give comfort to those experiencing heartaches.

“The message of the song is that nagkakaroon talaga ng mga pagkakataon na sobra-sobra tayong magmahal, to the point na hindi na natin kayang i-let go ‘yung taong mahal natin, kahit ang sakit-sakit na. To those experiencing heartbreaks, okay lang ‘yan. Normal lang ‘yan. Wag natin lalabanan o tatakbuhan ang hirap at sakit. Kailangan natin mapagdaanan at tiisin lahat ‘yan, dahil ito ang huhubog sa atin na maging mas mabuti, mas matibay at mas matapang na tao. Worth it lahat ng sakit, trust me.”

Meanwhile, despite her busy schedule, Bianca did her civic duty by officially becoming a registered voter. “Madaling araw pa lang, pumila na kami ng pinsan ko sa isang mall para magpa-register,” she says. “Umabot halos ng 13 hours ang pagpila namin at buong proseso, but it’s worth it. Now, I’m really looking forward to vote in the next election. Gusto ko lang i-remind ang lahat that exercising our right to vote means we care for our country and our future by voting for only the right public officials. So, let us show that we love our country, let’s all vote. And let’s all vote wisely!!!!”
