Bgy chairwoman shot dead in Laguna
A 60-YEAR-OLD barangay chairwoman was shot dead by one of two unidentified armed men beside the Barangay Health Center at 12:20 noon Monday in Bgy. Kanluran, Sta Rosa City, Laguna.
Sta. Rosa City P/LT.Col. Col. Vicente Amante identified the fatality as Lorena Presbitero De Jesus.
Initial investigation conducted PMSg. Arcangel Fedelicio showed the victim was pronounced dead on arrival in the hospital due to two gunshot wounds in the body.
The suspects fled on foot towards fled on foot towards Sta Rosa Bayan.
