SENATORIAL candidate Greco Belgica and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Martin Diño praised the well-laid development plan of Mayoral candidate Cezar Areza to restore the vitality and luster of Pagsanjan, Laguna, in conjunction with the visit and ribbon cutting of Arangkada Areza.

Areza’s programs for Pagsanjan include strengthening local business, as well as increasing jobs to advance the town that has been sluggish in recent times and is considered as the tourism capital of Laguna province.

This is also one of Usec. Diño’s views as he noticed that Pagsanjan lost its luster he is also a son of the Pagsanjan town because his grandfather and mother belonged here.

At the Huntahan sa Pagsanjan led by Laguna Express, Philippine Update, and OpinYon Laguna, Belgica shared his platform once elected to the Senate – to continue prosecuting the corrupt people and even corruption in the government just like what he did in Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC).

He added that during his tenure as chairman of PACC, he said that 154 people were charged for more than three years and 800 were fired.

Meanwhile, Usec. Diño added that a person like Areza who will be able to restore the beauty of Pagsanjan – he has already contributed a lot of help to his kababayans as well as the various barangays even though he is not yet the elected mayor.

The mayoralty candidate also promised programs focused on setting up a resto hub on the Pagsanjan river and improving the “Economic Development Program” and becoming the country’s tourism center again.
