PINUPULITIKA ng mga karibal ang di pa nareresolbang issue ng estate tax laban kay presidential frontrunner Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.
Ito ang naging pahayag Linggo ni Atty. Vic Rodriguez, chief of staff at spokesperson ni Marcos
Dagdag ni Rodriguez na hindi pagkakataon na sabay sabay inilabas na naman ng mga karibal ni Marcos ang nasabing issue ilang linggo na lang bago ganapin ang elections.
Ikinalungkot ng tagapagsalita at chief of staff ni Marcos ang mga pangyahari at sinabing ito ay ‘politics’ lang.
Sinabi rin niya na nililigaw lang ng mga karibal ni Marcos ang mga botante sa pagsasabing ang nasabing kaso ay naresolba.
Ipinaliwanag pa ni Rodriguez na nasa korte pa ang kose at ang pag-aari pa ng mga ari-arian ay di pa nareresolba.
Narito ang buong pahayag ni Rodriguez:
“It’s not a coincidence that rivals of presidential frontrunner Bongbong Marcos are raising this matter in unison a few weeks before the elections; sadly this is all about politics.
Our rivals are misdirecting everyone by claiming that the case has attained finality when the truth of the matter is, it is still pending in court and the ownership of the properties in litigation has yet to be settled.
That being the case, the fair and just tax base to be used in computing the estate tax cannot yet be established with certainty.”
