Batangas SACLEO hauls 114 suspects
CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – As many as 114 individuals involved in various cases were nabbed during the one-week “Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations” (SACLEO) of the Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) under P/Col. Pedro D. Soliba, Officer-in-Charge (OIC), conducted from September 25 to October 1 in Batangas province.
The operatives of the Batangas PPO arrested fifty-four individuals based on the arrest warrants filed.
Twenty-six “most wanted persons” (MWPs), nine at the regional level, ten at the provincial level, two at the city level, five at the municipal level, and 28 more other wanted persons.
In 32 police operations against illegal drugs, 35 personalities connected to drugs were arrested, estimated to reach 19.20 grams of shabu and 11 grams of marijuana with a total value of P133,800 were confiscated in the seven-day operation.
In 18 operations against illegal gambling, as many as 23 individuals were caught and the confiscated amount of money reached P7,548.
Meanwhile, two individuals were caught by the police for illegal possession of firearms.
“Let’s make our community safe, so continue cooperating with the PNP (Philippine National Police) and report wanted persons to the police,” Soliba added.
