BATANGAS – The mass vaccination held in the DREAM Zone in Capitol Compound, Batangas City was temporarily suspended after more than 30 members of the vaccination team tested positive for COVID-19.

This is part of the report of the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Rosvilinda Ozaeta, at the weekly meeting of the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19 (IATF) held the other day.

Despite this, vaccination continues through mobile units circulating in towns in the province.

“We converted dental buses and one bus from AnaKalusugan to go to the vaccination sites,” Ozaeta shared.

Governor Dodo Mandanas stressed that Batangas is under Alert Level 3 and still has a supply of vaccines and uses mobile units to get vaccinate more people. It will be recalled that the vaccination buses played a big role in helping the province reach its target in the past intensive national COVID-19 vaccination days.
