A ZUMBA dance activity was performed and organized by the uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) together with the Ambassadress for HOPE and Information Operation of the PNP (Philippine National Police) Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit at Camp General Miguel C. Malvar, Batangas City.

The participants enjoyed the Zumba activity led by the PNP Dance and Fitness Team of the Police Community Affairs and Development Group with the theme, “WE for gender equality and inclusive society.”

On the theme of International Women’s Month, Batangas Forensic Unit (BFU) chief Police Lieutenant Col. Mylin P. Addag declared that as leaders, “we must build trust in our leaders, recognize them in order to build and strengthen relationships with them and from there will develop respect for each other that is the beginning of cooperation.”

“Seeing every woman who participated in Batangas PPO’s Zumba activity reminds me of my mother, who symbolizes women’s unique ability.

We were nine siblings, and I can’t even imagine how my mother supported us so well,” Addag added.

BBPO Provincial Director Col. Pedro Soliba shared, “Men have skills that women may not be able to do, but I know, through my mother, that women’s role is still more difficult. They are capable of doing more, so I truly salute you.”
