CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – The Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) recently held a “Mass Zumba in Women’s Month 2022” inside the camp compound, according to the report of Batangas Police Director Glicerio C. Cansilao to Regional Director PRO Calabarzon (Police Regional Office Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon) BGen. Antonio C. Yarra.

The said activity was attended by 516 participants which included members of the Officers Ladies Club (OLC) led by Evelyn P. Cansilao, OLC President, policewomen of the BPPO, and female non-uniformed personnel (NUP).

Meanwhile, PCpt. Kermin Amor U. Cabrales, Chief, WCPD acknowledged all the participants and said, “We face a lot of pressure in our daily lives because of our different roles as children, spouses, girlfriends, mothers, and especially as policewomen, so let’s pay attention and do the so-called Zumba dance.”

Zumba is not just a dance but also an example of an exercise that can really benefit the body. Having a healthy heart and muscles can be considered a treasure not only for the individual but also for the family he or she cares for.

Patrolwoman Cristina A. Ponce of the San Luis Municipal Police Station was awarded the prize as an “early bird” attendee and NUP Rosemariebel Palabrica of the Lipa City Police Station as the top Zumba dancer.
