Batangas police ops net 32 felons

CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas — Up to 32 people involved in various cases were arrested in the three-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) of the Batangas Police Provincial Office led by PCOL Glicerio C. Cansilao on January 12-14, Provincial Director, provincial police PIO chief Police Lieutenant Pauline Pecaso Fernando said.

This includes eighteen (18) drug personalities where approximately 7.16 grams of shabu and marijuana with a total value of P42,008 were confiscated during the three-day operation.

During the filing of warrants of arrest by Batangas PPO operatives, four (4) were arrested of which two were named the Top 7 in Provincial Level and Top 6 in City Level.

On the other hand, two were arrested in the campaign against illegal gambling.

Eight individuals were also arrested in the extended operation against illegal firearms. Up to nine loose firearms were confiscated.

Meanwhile, 34 firearms were turned over to the custody of the police from the surrenders of their owners under the OPLAN Katok and BALIK-Armas of the Batangas PPO.

“We are always ready to fulfill our duty to enforce the law to maintain order, tranquility, and safety of everyone from crime and even the threat of pandemics. We also ensure the relentless conduct of police visibility, mobile and foot patrols, and checkpoints to ensure security and peace in our community,” PCOL Cansilao said.
