The incident occurred along the national highwag in Bgy. Talaibon, Ibaan.

Ibaan Municipal Police Station chief PMAJ Emil O. Mendoza identified the suspect as Ronilo Gallego alias Romlen, married, helper, and residing in Bgy. Balanga, Ibaan.

Joint personnel of the PMPU-POMU, BPPO led by PSMS Mafriel B. Magpantay under the supervision of PMAJ Allan A. De Castro together with personnel of Ibaan MPS conducted tje COMELEC/Police checkpoin at 3:11 p.m.

Pat Eries G. Montealto flagged down the suspect and asked for his driver’s license.

The suspect was invited to the police station for further investigation when he showed an alleged fake driver’s license.

Upon verification, the warrant PNCO said the suspect had an existing warrant of arrest issued on July 1, 2014, by Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Tercio, of the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 40, of Silay City with no recommended bail.

Police said the accused is listed as No. 5 most wanted person in the region.
