‘Batang Madrasta’ on Magpakailanman
THIS Saturday, June 26, long running drama anthology, Magpakailanman hosted by Mel Tuiangco on GMA7, presents ‘Batang Madrasta’, the story of Leila (18), a so-called papa’s girl. When her father is imprisoned and her mother finds a new husband, she could not accept it.
She grows up a rebel child and goes into a relationship at a young age.
But her boyfriend leaves her for another girl.
At a time when she felt she was so alone, she meets Dan (50) who was separated from his wife and was living with his two children.
Despite the big age gap, Leila finds herself falling in love with Dan.
She gets pregnant and eventually, they decide to live under one roof.
Leila does not expect that she would then start to face the complicated life as stepmother to Dan’s older children.
‘Batang Madrasta’ is led by Angela Alarcon as Leila and Gardo Versoza as Dan, and also stars Prince Clemente, Erin Ocampo and Jenine Desiderio.
