SOME 83 law violators were apprehended by the Bataan Police in a weeklong anti-crime drive or Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO).

Bataan Police acting Director Col. Romell Velasco said 22 persons were nabbed in separate buy-busts in Abucay, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Limay, Mariveles, Morong, Orani, Orion, and Pilar.

A total of 46 sachets of shabu and four sachets of marijuana were seized from the suspects.

Some 48 most wanted persons were arrested by members of the Abucay, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Limay, Orion, Pilar, Orani, Mariveles, and Samal Police.

One individual was apprehended for stealing a motorcycle, while three persons were arrested in Mariveles for possession of loose firearms.

Six firearms were confiscated by the Mariveles and Orani Police.

At least 19 were captured in anti-gambling operations in Balanga and Limay – at least P4,330 worth of bet money was confiscated.

Velasco commended the relentless efforts of the Bataan Police for their accomplishments in the anti-crime and law enforcement operations as he vowed to continue the ops to ensure the maintenance of peace and order in the province.
