
Bataan logs 548 dengue cases
BALANGA CITY, Bataan– Governor Joet S Garcia yesterday reported that a total of 548 cases of dengue was recorded in the province.
He urged Bataeños to take extra care and follow preventive measures to avoid dengue.
In his meeting with the Provincial Health Board Friday afternoon, the governor said they also discussed various health-related issues to ensure quality health services to every Bataeños.
“Ilan po dito ay ang PhilHealth accreditation updates kung saan inalam po natin ang estado ng mga rural health unit (RHU) sa bawat bayan na nagsisilbing Primary Care Facility (PCF) at Specialty Drug Group (SDG) na nagbibigay ng mga serbisyong gaya ng TB DOTS, Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC), Outpatient Malaria Package (OMPP), Maternal Care, at Mental Health Services,” the governor said.
Garcia said they also discussed the Special Health Fund (SHF), particularly the transfer of funds and the inventory of much needed medicines to ensure their availability in the health facilities.
