Bankrupt trader found dead with knife stuck in neck

A DEPRESSED man having a problem in business and in his health was found lifeless with a stuck knife to the neck outside their house in Lipa City, Batangas the other day.

According to Lipa City police chief, Lt. Col Lory Tarrazona the victim was suspected of having committing suicide.

The man was discovered lifeless by his wofe at around 5 p.m. at the back of theor home in Purok 3, Bgy. San Jose.

Police said the wife found her husband lying face down on the ground in a pool of blood with a knife through the lower front portion of his neck.

She sought assistance from her husband’s cousin and brought the man to the hospital.

The victim was pronounced dead at around 5:55 a.m. of the same day by attending physician Dr. Zeus Mendoza.

The family of the victim further revealed that the victim was suffering from depression due to business bankruptcy and health problems.

Police are still conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the allegations of the members of the family.
