SINAG honors food security and agricultural quality assurance association led by chemist Pinky Tobiano

THE Association of Veterinary and Agri-Quality Assurance Laboratories of the Philippines, Inc. (AVAQAL) recently received an agriculture award from SINAG (Samahang Industriya ng Agricultura).

AVAQAL was lauded for its unwavering support and tireless advocacy for the interest of farmers, who are the local producers in the agriculture industry.

The award was given out on the 12th anniversary of Sinag with the Pagawad at Pagkilala sa mga Tanglaw ng Kanayunan Sinag ng Kinabukasan theme in Quezon City.

Tobiano emphasized AVAQAL’s commitment to elevating quality assurance standards in the agricultural sector.

AVAQAL was recognized for its contribution to the agriculture industry by providing accurate and precise laboratory test results of agricultural raw materials, grains, crops, feeds, veterinary drugs, feed supplements in safeguarding food safety in the country.

Through the leadership of Tobiano, together with her passion, dedication and commitment to the back end support for Philippine agriculture, AVAQAL has now transformed from a simple organization to a world-class organization.

Pilmico, Unahco, San Miguel Foods Inc, Progressive Laboratories, Lak Pue Drugs, Arvet Chem among others….
