Baby found dead, decomposing in Ilocos Sur
A BABY boy on Monday was found dead and rotting in a vacant lot in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.
Witness Carolina Carsola discovered the infant in an empty lot in Bgy. San Pedro in Narvacan town.
She told police that on Sunday, she cleaned the vacant lot. When she returned yesterday to the place to cover a hole, she was shocked to see a dead baby.
Carsola said the baby was already in an advanced stage of decomposition.
According to her, the tot was not yet in the lot when she swept the fallen leaves.
Personnel of the Narvacan Municipal Police Station are investigating who dumped the newborn in the place.
