Atty. Romeo Vera Cruz designated OIC of LTO
DEPARTMENT of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime J. Bautista has designated Land Transportation Office-Philippines (LTO) Executive Director Atty. Romeo G. Vera Cruz as the Officer-In-Charge of the agency.
In appointing ED Vera Cruz, Secretary Bautista issued Special Order No. 2022-130 dated 01 July 2022 pursuant to the Office of the President’s Memorandum Circular No. 1 through Executive Secretary Victor D. Rodriguez.
As OIC of the LTO, Atty. Vera Cruz will “perform and discharge the functions and responsibilities” of the position until 31 July 2022, or until a replacement has been appointed or designated, according to Secretary Bautista’s Special Order.
In performing his functions as Officer-in-Charge, Atty. Vera Cruz is authorized to act on administrative and day-to-day functions of the LTO.
