Arrested drug peddler yields P200K shabu
LUCENA CITY — Police on Friday arrested an alleged notorious drug pusher and seized more than P200,000 worth of shabu in a drug buy-bust at Purok Buklod, Pagkakaisa, Bgy. Cotta, this city.
Quezon police director Col. Joel Villanueva said arrested was Jan Bernnie Bondad alias “Jan-Jan,” 28, a resident of the village.
Villanueva said Bondad, who is included in the police’s drug watchlist, was arrested by intelligence operatives of the Lucena City Police Station under Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea.
The suspect yielded seven heat- sealed plastic sachets containing 10.3 grams of shabu, with an street value of P210,120, and the P500 marked money.
Bondad is now detained at the Lucena City lock-up jail facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
