Fresh from his win as Best Male Lead in a TV Program/Series for “Cattleya Killer” at the recently-concluded ContentAsia Awards held in Taipei, humarap si Arjo Atayde sa entertainment press for a thanksgiving/early Christmas party last Friday.

Pangalawang international win na ito ng aktor/politiko dahil matatandaang nanalo rin siyang Best Actor sa Asian Academy Creative Awards 2020 for his role in “Bagman.”

Ayon kay Arjo, nang dumalo siya sa ContentAsia Awards ay wala siyang anumang expectation.

“To be nominated is already such a privilege. The recognition itself will be a bonus as we always say. That’s not being humble but it’s really trying to push Filipino content, trying to push Filipino connections in a better way, that we could excel pa,” pahayag ng aktor.

Nakakabilib nga rin si Arjo dahil nakakaya niyang pagsabay-sabayin ang pagiging aktor at politiko dahil hindi rin niya napapabayaan ang kanyang responsiblidad bilang representative ng 1st district ng Quezon City.

Sey nga niya, for this year ay halos tapos na ang lahat ng kanyang mga proyekto, mapa-showbiz man o politics.

And of course, hindi rin niya napapabayaan ang responsibilidad niya bilang asawa ni Maine Mendoza. They just celebrated their first wedding anniversary at ayon sa aktor/politiko, ang wifey pa rin niya ang kanyang priority.

“Of course, during my free times and during my free days, kapag may bakasyon, kaya nga po we travel, nakikita po ng tao, because that is the only time talaga na we get to spend time together, to be honest.

“Kasi ‘pag nandito po sa Manila, of course, meron din siyang responsibility, she also has commitments to attend to, and also me as well. I juggle up all these things, but rest assured, it’s just time management and we’re both very happy,” aniya.

“She’s also my priority at the end of the day as well,” dagdag pa ni Arjo.

Natanong din ang aktor kung buntis na ba si Maine dahil nawala ito sa “Eat Bulaga” at sey niya, “Hindi po, we went on a vacation for our first wedding anniversary po.”

Nilinaw din niya ang lumalabas na tsismis na ang nanay niyang si Sylvia Sanchez na ang tatakbong congresswoman sa darating na eleksyon.

“No, it’s not true, my mom’s not replacing me. I have much to do, we have been working very hard in the district and as a promise to my responsibility, to my commitment to the people from this month, actually, from last month pa, nu’ng natapos ko na ‘yung mga commitments, I was able to keep myself free until after elections so that I can focus, of course, po to the district,” paglilinaw ni Arjo.

BELLE GRUMADWEYT SA KOLEHIYO

Sa kabila ng pagiging busy ni Belle Mariano sa kanyang showbiz career ay hindi niya pinabayaan ang kanyang pag-aaral at ngayon ay nagbunga na ito dahil nakapagtapos na siya ng kolehiyo.

Proud na ibinahagi ng aktres ang kanyang graduation photos at masayang-masaya siya sa bagong milestone na ito ng kanyang buhay.

“Before entering the industry, I promised myself and my parents that I’d do my best to live the best of both worlds:pursuing my career and balancing it with school at the same time,” simula ng caption ni Belle.

Hindi raw madali ang kanyang naging journey bilang working student but it all paid off in the end.

“Two years ago, I decided to continue pursuing my academics once again. I could say it wasn’t an easy journey — all the nights of staying up late, endless cups of coffee, and trying to make it before the deadline. I finally made it!” pahayag ng aktres.

Matatandaang nabanggit ni Belle in her past interviews that she was taking up Psychology in college.
