Another oil price hike next week
MOTORISTS will be greeted by another wave of fuel price hikes in the coming week as predicted by local oil firms.
Unioil Petroleum Philippines on Saturday said it forecasts an increase of P0.80 to P1.00 per liter on gasoline, P0.50 to P0.60 centavos per liter on diesel, and P0.40 to P0.50 centavos per liter on kerosene.
If implemented, it would be the eighth straight week of fuel price increases since January.
Local oil companies usually announce the price increases of their petroleum products every Monday to be effective the following day.
