Another oil price hike

PRICES of gasoline products continue to increase as local oil firms implemented mixed price adjustments of their petroleum products effective Tuesday.

Chevron Philippines bared that at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, prices of premium and unleaded gasoline will go up by P1.15 per liter while enforcing rollback on diesel prices by P0.35 per liter and kerosene by P0.30 per liter.

Two other oil giants, Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell implemented the same mixed price adjustments, along with small oil firm Seaoil Philippines, at 6 a.m. Tuesday marking the companies’ 10thconsecutive weeks of price increase on gasoline products since August.

Thai-led PTT Philippines, Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum, Total Philippines, Eastern Petroleum and Unioil also implemented same mixed price adjustments on their gasoline and diesel products at 6 a.m. while Clean Fuel imposed the same changes at 4:01 p.m.

Meanwhile, at 4 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2021, Petron Corporation implemented an increase of P3.10 per kilogram on their liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) that would translate to P34.21 for every 11-kilogram cooking gas tank while auto LPG at P1.73 per liter.

Petron said the increase reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of November.
