Another Las Piñas bettor big winner
A 47-year-old housekeeper from Las Pinas became an instant millionaire after winning a total of P61,234,178.20 from Lotto 6/42.
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office ( PCSO) said the winner guessed the winning combination 18–25–12–14–13–22 drawn last July 1.
The winner said she based the numbers on the birthdates of her family members.
“Almost 20 years ko na pong tinatayaan yung mga birthdays namin mag-anak at buti naman sa awa ng Diyos ay nanalo din po kami,” she said.
The winner claimed her prize with her husband at the PCSO office in Mandaluyong City.
She said she plans to use her winnings to build their own house, start an apartment renting business and allocatenfor the future of their children.
“Mahirap pong maging mahirap, kaya ang payo kong nanggaling sa hirap, patuloy lang po sa pag-abot ng inyong mga pangarap at huwag niyo po itong susukuan at kapag ito po ay inyong nakamtan ay inyo po itong paka-ingatan dahil minsan lang po kakatok ang swerte sa ating buhay,”she said.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to continue patronizing the PCSO games, as 30% of the sales also go to charity.
Pursuant to Republic Act 1169, the lotto ticket has one-year validity from the date of draw and unclaimed prizes after one year will be forfeited.
Under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, a 20% tax is automatically deducted from prizes above P10,000.
