Kung natatandaan pa, umasa ang mga fans ng CarGel (Carlo and Angel) na magkakabalikan ang dating magkasintahan laluna nang kanilang gawin ang 2018 hit movie na “Exes Baggage” na dinirek ni Dan Villegas under Black Sheep Productions. Umasa rin si Angelica pero hindi `yon ang nangyari kaya nakatanggap si Carlo ng katakut-takot na bash mula sa kanilang fans laluna ng supporters ni Angelica.

Habang ini-enjoy ngayon nina Angelica and her partner na si Gregg ang nalalapit nilang pagiging parents, nasa magkahiwalay na set-up naman ngayon sina Carlo at Trina pero ina-allow ng huli na ipahiram ang kanilang anak sa actor dahil gusto ni Trina na maging buo ang pagkatao ng kanilang anak sa kabila ng kanilang paghihiwalay.

Angelica and Carlo were still in their teens nang maging sila in 1999. Matagal silang naging magkasintahan, nagkahiwalay at nag-reconcile pero nagkahiwalay muli.

MATAPOS ang slapping incident between 94th Oscars Best Actor Will Smith and actor-comedian and filmmaker Chris Rock nung March 27 (Sunday) ng gabi sa Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, nag-resign na si Will sa Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences na siyang namamahagi ng annual Oscars Awards.

Pagkatapos ng slapping incident nung nakaraang linggo, nagpahayag ang Academy na nagkaroon na umano sila ng initiated disciplinary proceedings laban kay Smith.

Ayon sa pangulo ng Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences na si David Rubin, tinanggap na umano ng body ang `immediate resignation’ ng actor.

“We will continue to move forward with our disciplinary proceedings against Mr. Smith for violations of the Academy’s Standards of Conduct, in advance of our next scheduled board meeting on April 18,” dagdag pa ni Rubin.

Ang disciplinary actions ng Academy include suspension or expulsion, along with “other sanctions permitted by the Bylaws and Standards of Conduct,” patuloy ni Robin. pero bago pa man ang final judgment ng body ay nag-resign na si Smith.

Dahil sa resignation ni Smith sa Academy, hindi na siya makakaboto sa mga Oscar-nominated movies and performances taun-taon. Pero sa kabila nito, ang performance niya in his future films ay magiging eligible pa rin for Oscars considerations and nominations.

“I have directly responded to the Academy’s disciplinary hearing notice, and I will fully accept any and all consequences for my conduct. My actions at the 94th Academy Awards presentation were shocking, painful, and inexcusable. The list of those I have hurt is long and includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those in attendance, and global audiences at home. I betrayed the trust of the Academy. I deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work. I am heartbroken. I want to put the focus back on those who deserve attention for their achievements and allow the Academy to get back to the incredible work it does to support creativity and artistry in film. So I am resigning from membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate. Change takes time and I am committed to doing the work to ensure that I never again allow violence to overtake reason.”

Marami man ang nalungkot sa naging desisyon ng American actor, marami rin ang humanga sa kanyang ginawang pag-amin at pagtanggap sa kanyang maling ginawa.

“At least he was gentleman enough to own up his own mistakes,” pahayag ng isang tagahanga.

JayR is married to Filipina singer Mica Javier (28), anak ng businessman-politician na si Sandy Javier, may-ari ng Andok’s Chicken chain. Siya’y pamangkin ng dating miyembro ng APO Hiking Society na si Danny Javier at ang singer-comedian na si Dyords Javier.
