‘1TIME for Your Mind’ will be the first major solo concert of rapper-comedian Andrew E on December 11 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

The rapper is behind some of the hits that became popular in the local music scene back in the ‘90s, like Humanap Ka ng Panget, Alabang Girls, Andrew Ford Medina, Banyo Queen and a lot more.

In ‘1Time for Your Mind’ concert, Andrew E is expected to take the fans on a trip down memory lane. He will also perform his hit songs and surprise the fans and concert goers with unpredictable performances.

“We will present you with a Las Vegas-type of concert,” assured Andrew E, as he shared the details of his forthcoming concert. “Kasi for quite some time, I noticed sa dinami-dami ng major concert sa Pilipinas from 30 years ago, 20 years and even just 10 years ago, we need to define and create something new.”

“Sabi ko, let’s plan to do something new for the people who will come and watch, so they will appreciate what they will see, hear and do without us talking to them,” Andrew E added.

The execution of the entire concert will be really costly, according to Andrew E.

“Siguro naman, matagal niyo na akong kilala sa industry,” said Andrew E. “Gusto kong sinosorpresa ang audience sa mga kanta ko na you don’t know where or what direction I’m heading when it comes to creating a song.

“I don’t copy anybody’s line or if I may say, I don’t copy anybody’s style, so kahit paano, when I come out with a song, it will be different and at the same time entertaining. At the same time, it will become something new.”

“I will incorporate that in the concert. At the same time, let me humbly audition again to the people who saw me before and seeing me again now. They are about to see me perform live again.”

The rap icon is presently in the process of brainstorming with his team to effectively integrate all interesting ideas for a flawless execution in his concert.

“We are trying to complete the team,” said Andrew E. “At the same time, we are injecting all the ideas properly for every sequence. ‘Yun muna siguro ang first phasing na gagawin namin sa team.”

Naturally, many will anticipate Andrew E’s guests in his 1Time for Your Mind concert. He insisted that will be a “surprise” for now. The actual announcement of the guests who will join him will be revealed October or November.

“Kami, much different ang gagawin namin,” said Andrew. “We keep the people excited about the guests. We don’t reveal the names right away. We keep the audience excited before we announce the guests.”

Ogie Alcasid golf cup

SINGER-songwriter and OPM legend Ogie Alcasid together with Global Dominion, once again hosted this year’s OA Global Dominion Golf Cup.

The sports event, which was held in Valley Golf and Country Club, was participated by Global Dominion leaders, executives, partners and celebrities connected to the birthday celebrator, Ogie Alcasid.

Partners and sponsors were ALFC Insurance Agency, Annapolis, Fly Manila and Em-Core. Winners were Nearest t to the Pin – Ike Gangoso, Most Accurate Drive – Ella Vonau, Longest Drive – Rafael Magic, Guest Division Champion – Gen. Mike Perez, Individual Monthly Champion – Kier Legaspi, Overall Team Champion – Blue Team.
