Kasalukuyan palang nasa proseso ng IVF (in vitro fertilization) ang dating Viva Hot Babe na si Andrea del Rosario at ito raw ang dahilan kung bakit lately ay hindi siya tumatanggap ng projects.

“As of the moment, nandu’n po ako sa process ng egg harvest, IVF, so, may mga instance na talagang masakit man sa loob ko… I’m supposed to be part of The Broken Marriage Vows with Dreamscape, I had to beg off because of that,” ani Andrea sa virtual presscon ng Cinemalaya film niya na Pugon.

May isa nang anak si Andrea, si Bea who is 11 years old, at gusto pa nga niyang magkaroon ng another baby.

But because of her age na early 40s, baka raw hindi na siya pwede pang mabuntis the normal way.

“So, ‘yun na ‘yung last resort,” she said.

Ang Pugon ay isang narrative statement short film directed by Gabby Ramos. Aside from Andrea, bida rin dito si Soliman Cruz at introducing sina Jhassy Busran, Cassie Kim at Bamboo B.

Also in the cast are Edmond Santiago, Carmen del Rosario and Sheena Lee Palad.

An initial venture of Rems Films, it is a part of the Indie Nation exhibition section ng prestigious Cinemalaya 2021, now on its 17th year.

The indie filmfest is slated to be streamed from Aug. 6 to Sept. 5 via KTX.ph.
