THE Department of Education (DepEd) announced that all systems go for the pilot implementation of limited face-to-face classes in public schools located in low or minimal risk areas nationwide on November 15.
The readiness of DepEd was assured by Education Secretary Leonor Briones during the Laging Handa briefing on Wednesday.
According to Deped,10 schools were added to the list of 90 schools allowed to hold face- to -face classes.
“All set na for Nov. 15, nabuo na natin yung 100 public schools ,” Briones said.
The participating public schools have been equipped with necessary facilities like water supplies, hand washing and medical kits.
The said schools were allowed to hold face- to-face classes have passed the assessment conducted by the officials of the Department of Health (DOH) and DepEd.

Meanwhile, 20 participating private schools are allowed however DepEd said that the final list has not yet been completed.
