Albay farmer bags P142-M Super lotto jackpot
AN 80-YEAR-OLD farmer recently won the Super lotto 6/49 jackpot prize.
According to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, the lucky bettor guessed the winning combination of 02 05 04 31 01 46 via lucky pick on the Superlotto 6/49 draw last January 16, with a jackpot prize of 142,679,606.40.
The jackpot winner, who is a farmer, came to the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City to claim his winnings on January 27, together with his two sons.
The old man said he bought his ticket from a lotto outlet in Abuyog, Albay, where he usually plays lotto.
He said that he really is an avid lotto fan, playing for over 15 years.
“Maraming salamat at biniyayaan ako ng Diyos, pinaghirapan ko naman ‘yan ng maraming taong pagtataya para manalo,” the old man said.
The winner said he will use the money to buy properties for his children and to put up a small business.
He also said he is planning to open up a lotto outlet of his own.
