Air Swift inaugurates commercial flight to Romblon Airport
ON September 24, 2022, Air Swift officially inaugurated its commercial flights to Romblon Airport.
The inaugural flight was welcomed through an event at the airport where Romblon Governor Jose “Otik” Riano, Romblon Vice Governor Armando Gutierrez, Alcantara Mayor Riza Galicia-Pamorada, Air Swift President Alfonso Javier Reyes, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Area III Manager Glenn Tripulca, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Regional Director Atty. Bevienne Malateo, and other municipal mayors from the province of Romblon were present.
CAAP Flight Standard Inspectorate Service (FSIS) inspectors simultaneously conducted a validity flight check on the ATR 42-600 aircraft used in the maiden flight.
Air Swift replaced CebGo in catering commercial flights in Romblon after the latter officially terminated its operations to the airport on 20 August 2022.
Air Swift will be flying to Romblon from Manila and vice versa from September 24, 2022 to March 31, 2023 twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday.
