After rollback, price hike again
MOTORISTS will again experience another increase in fuel prices next week after local oil firms implemented a big-time price rollback last Tuesday.
Oil industry sources said prices of diesel products may increase between P8 to P8.15 per liter, gasoline between P3 to P3.15 per liter and kerosene P8.05 to P8.15 per liter.
The increase in prices of petroleum products is set to be implemented on Tuesday.
Energy sources said the spike in prices of diesel oil in the world market was caused by a series of attacks in an oil depot in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by Yemen’s Houthis rebels, including the facilities of oil giant Aramco.
