ACTS-OFW group supports BBM-SARA tandem
THE tandem of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas standard-bearer Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marco, Jr. and his running mate Lakas-CMD vice presidential bet Inday Sara Duterte recently gained the support of ACTS-OFW Partylist.
ACTS-OFW issued a formal declaration of unequivocal and full support to the UniTeam candidates for the upcoming May 9 elections.
“We have watched closely the leadership Marcos and Duterte-Carpio have exemplified in Ilocos and Davao regions, respectively, and we admired their strong political will and love for our country,” Imee Enriquez, the party’s nominee, said.
“We see in the BBM-Sara tandem their tremendous commitment and dedication to public service, especially in advancing our programs and services for OFWs,” she added.
As the partylist’s president and first nominee, Enriquez led the ceremonial signing of declaration of support to BBM-Sara tandem at its national headquarters in Marikina City.
Enriquez sees in the BBM-Sara tandem the leadership the nation needs in order to sustain and continue the socioeconomic and political gains under the Duterte administration.
Among the presidential and vice-presidential candidates, she added that only the UniTeam has the genuine concern for the OFWs, especially among those most vulnerable and disadvantaged.
“We believe that only in the BBM-Sara tandem can we be assured that the OFW and migrant workers sectors, farmers, the poor and those on the fringes of society will be taken care of; that they will uphold the welfare of Filipinos and not the enemies of the State,” she said.
The partylist nominee stressed that “with the best character, credibility, experience, competence, and leadership skills to lead the country for economic growth, continuity, security, and recovery, we believe that this BBM-Sara tandem will regain the Philippines its former glory.”
ACTS-OFW Partylist, the most preferred choice of partylist representing OFW sector, also vowed to support the call of UniTeam for unity that will solve the country’s woes.
“For the sake of our better future, with the BBM-Sara tandem, let us join hands together in making this vision finally realized and ultimately fulfilled. Sama-sama tayong babangong muli!” Enriquez said.
