THE leading congressional partylist has responded to Senator Joel Villanueva’s recent belittling of partylist groups.

In a radio interview recently, ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo said he was surprised by the senator’s tirade against partylists.

According to Cong. Tulfo, “Nagulat lang ako at binanatan nya ang mga partylist dahil yung tatay niya na si Bro. Eddie Villanueva ay kasama namin sa partylist coalition”.

“Parang minaliit nya ang lahat ng partylist kasama na yung partylist nila na Cibac at si Bro. Eddie na tatay nya pa ang representante nila,” Cong. Tulfo said.

Cong. Tulfo advised Sen. Villanueva, “Mag-usap siguro sila ng tatay nya kasi am sure nasaktan din ang mga constituents o supporters ng tatay”.

Tulfo further reminded, a law has established partylist representation in congress to look after the welfare of Filipinos who are not covered by any district.
