Acorda named PRO10 director
ERSTWHILE National Capital Region Police Office Deputy Regional Director for Administration, Brigadier General Benjamin C. Acorda Jr. on Thursday was named by Philippine National Police chief, General Dionardo B. Carlos as the new Police Regional Office (PRO) 10 director in Northern Mindanao.
Acorda, a member of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) ‘Sambisig’ Class of 1991, replaced newly-retired Brig. Gen. Rolando B. Anduyan of PMA ‘Bigkis Lahi’ Class of 1990 who commanded the Northern Mindanao police since October 29, 2019.
Carlos ordered Acorda to lead the PRO10 in its continuing aggressive campaign against drugs, criminality, terror and corruption as well as its internal cleansing program aimed at disciplining the local police force.
