Abucay leaders unite to ensure town’s progress
ABUCAY, Bataan -Though they belonged to a different political parties last election, newly-elected Mayor Robin Tagle and Vice Mayor Wangbu Pabustan, vowed to work hand-in-hand for the sake of the economic progress of this once sleepy town.
Tagle ran under the National Unification Party while Pabustan ran indepenently.
Right after assuming the mayorship, Tagle said that he was ready to offer an olive branch to his opponents for the betterment of this once neglected town in Bataan.
“Of course, for the economic progress of Abucay, I am ready to reconcile with my political foes; election was just one day and the Abuceños had spoken,” pointed out Tagle in an earlier interview with People’s Tonight.
Tagle said a lot of programs are on the pipeline under his administration, saying he does not want these programs to get squandered by political differences with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
So with Pabustan.
“Syempre, kung para naman sa bayan ay gagawin natin lahat; wala naman kaming problema ni Mayor Robin at magkakasundo kami pagdating sa ikabubuti ng taumbayan,” Pabustan pointed out.
