Ayon kay Torre III, nakipag-ugnayan umano ang Silago Municipal Police Station sa mga operatiba ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) na pinamumunuan ni PLt. Col. Reynante Parlade; Regional Intelligence Division-NCR at NDIT-Regional Intelligence Unit-NCR, na nagresulta sa pagkakadakip kay Palana sa Brgy Pinagtipunan, General Trias, Cavite.
