635 job applicants hired in Caloocan 2 mega job fairs
THE city government of Caloocan, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), conducted mega job fairs in North and South Caloocan as part of the celebration of its 61st Cityhood wherein 635 applicants out of 1,686 job seekers were hired on-the-spot.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan assured everyone that in Caloocan, no one would be left behind. He said there are thousands of job vacancies waiting for qualified applicants.
He likewise encouraged everyone to make the most of the opportunities brought by the city government through its job fairs, regular recruitment activities, livelihood training and other related recovery programs for continuous resiliency and progress.
“Mga Batang Kankaloo, tulad po ng lagi kong sinasabi, sa Caloocan, walang maiiwan, kaya naman libo-libong trabaho po ang maari niyong pagpilian mula sa ating job vacancies” the mayor said.
“Sa tuwing nagsasagawa po tayo ng ating mga job fair, regular na local recruitment activities at livelihood trainings, sana po’y sulitin niyo ang mga oportunidad na ito, dahil bahagi po ito ng ating recovery program para sa tuloy tuloy nating pagbangon at pag-unlad.” he added.
In addition, PESO Officer-in-Charge, Ms. Violeta Gonzales stated that they are continuously coordinating with various companies to offer more job opportunities to its people. She also mentioned that their partner companies during the mega job fairs are composed of direct companies, as well as local and overseas recruitment agencies.
