6 robbers killed in Antipolo encounter
SIX suspected holdup men yesterday was killed in a gunfight with government security forces in Marcos Highway, Antipolo City, Rizal.
The Antipolo City Police Station said the suspects , who were riding a motorcycle and a car, tried to rob a gasoline station at Sitio Boso-Boso in Bgy. San Jose at 1 a.m. yesterday.
Members of the Antipolo City police, who were patrolling nearby, were alerted that led to an encounter.
Recovered at the clash site were 40 spent shells from an unknown caliber of guns and the suspects’ motorcycle and brown Kia Sedan car.
