TOP seed 521 Trading Inc Basketball and JPC Gas Station seek semifinals berths when they battle Shawnin Konstrack and NXT LVL in the 2023 Vantage Basketball invitational tournament at the Imelda Cultural Center in Batac, Ilocos Norte.

Handled by businessman-sportsman Teddy Javines and coached by Gilbert Isla, 521 Trading Inc will rely on John Kobe Dalisay, Clint Escamis, Resty Formis, Toby Bryan Agustin and Enrico Joaquin Garcia to book a ticket in the best-of-three semifinals.

A victory by 521 Trading over Shawin in the 8:30 p.m encounter will also extend its winning streak to five games after sweeping tGroup B with four straight wins.

521 Trading holds a twice-to-beat advantage over Shawin Konstrack 521 Trading defeated Ariannas Place 93-82, Purewell Artesian Water, 83-73, RQC 109-80 and NXT LVL, 103-71 for a four-game sweep going into quarterfinal match.

Assisting Isla on bench are Vince Daga, Eric Lucero and Carlito Martinez and team managers McJason Javines and Dayne Paranes.

The team will also lean on John Brylle Puyot, Jopet Soriano, TJ Oducayen, Paolo Jose Hernandez and Warren Bonifacio

JPC Gas Station is also favored against NXT LVL in their 6:30 p.m match after sweeping Group A.

In the other quarterfinal match are Bracket A No. 2 Samahan Kalasag vs Bracket B No. 3 Arianna’s Place and Bracket A no. 3 Dezign Works vs Bracket B No. 2 Purewell Water.

The month-long tournament is organized by Ronald Yapo’s Vantage Hog Feeds in cooperation with the City Goverment of Batac Ilocos Norte, headed by Mayor Albert D. Chua.

The prestigious 10-team tournament is divided into two groups with the top four teams in each group playing in the crossover quarterfinals. AA
