5 nabbed for illegal tupada in Laguna
LAGUNA police operatives nabbed five men on Sunday for alleged illegal cockfighting or tupada in Binan City ,Laguna.
A report submitted by Laguna Provincial Director PCol. Serafin Petalio II to CALABARZON Regional Director PBGen. Eliseo DC Cruz, identified the arrested suspects as Raymond Villareal 41, Marc Bilbes , 40, Liberato Gallardo,50, Pedro Corral Jr. 56, and Marlon Sibal , 40 , all of Binan City, Laguna.
Binan City Police led by PLt. Omar Halim under the supervision of PLt.Col. Giovanni Martinez, chief of police, conducted the anti-illegal gambling operation at around 11 a.m. at the La Solidaridad Homes, Bgy. Timbao that resulted to the arrest of the suspect.
Confiscated during the operation were two live cocks, a dead cock, two gaffs and bet money amounting to P740.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Biñan police station for proper disposition.
