5 drug pushers, drug den smashed in Taguig
OPERATIVES of the Southern Police District Drug (SPD) arrested five drug personalities involved in peddling illegal drugs and dismantled their drug den in an anti-illegal drug operation yesterday before dawn in Taguig City.
SPD Director P/BGen. Roderick Mariano identified the arrested suspects as Maria Elaine Alcala alias “Len-Len”, 34, Realym Recardo, 29; Tracy Bersuela, 21; Joan Mae Trilles, 24; and Mark Edison Olalo, 24, who were all listed as drug pushers and were previously arrested for their involvement in illegal drugs.
Joint operatives of District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU), District Intelligence Division (DID), District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), District Mobile Force Division (DMFB), and Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted an anti-illegal drug operation on Cuasay St. Barangay North Signal Village at around 1:40 a.m. following a tip from confidential informant that the area was being used as drug den by the suspects.
The suspects yielded six self-sealing and three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu, weighing approximately 20 grams worth P140,080 and the buy-bust money.
