4 wanted felons fall in Ecija
CABANATUAN CITY — Four wanted felons including a parole violator who have pending court-issued warrants were apprehended during separate manhunt operations in Nueva Ecija.
First to fall was Michael Pizarro, 36, single, of Doňa Adela Subd., Bgy. Mabini Homesite, this city, who was nabbed in Zaragosa, Nueva Ecija. An arrest warrant was issued against him for violating the parole and probation law after he was jailed for drug charges.
“Nilabasan siya ng warrant kasi may nilabag siya sa alituntunin ng probation law based on the order issued by the court of origin, at nakulong na siya noon ng almost 9 months sa Cabanatuan at sa Kalikid BJMP,” explained Zaragosa town police head Major Jaime P. Ferrer.
He said the suspect was re-arrested in Bgy. Del Pilar, this town at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Ferrer added the suspect’s arrest warrant dated May 4, 2021, was issued for him to serve the remaining term of the original sentence imposed on him by Cabanatuan City regional trial court branch 27 Judge Angelo C. Perez for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article 2 of Republic Act 9165.
Two other wanted persons nabbed in General Natividad were identified as Edizon Wynn Bernardo, 25, single, construction worker, and Jomar Manuel, 36, farmer, both of Bgy. Talabutab Sur, Nueva Ecija.
Bernardo was collared based on an alias warrant of arrest for qualified theft with recommended bail of P36,000 issued by Judge Claro E. Carpizo of the Municipal Circuit Trial Courts (MCTC) in Bugallon and Aguilar, Pangasinan.
Manuel fell in police hands by virtue of a warrant for direct assault issued by Judge Elenita D. Pascua-Sennido of the MCTC General Natividad-Llanera with bail set at P6,000.
In the Science City of Muňoz (SCM), Lt. Col. Marlon Cudal, city police head identified the fourth arrested wanted suspect as Marlon Bermudez, 26, construction worker, of Bgy. Mangandingay.
Cudal said the suspect has an arrest warrant for direct assault issued by Judge Zamita T. Mationg of the SCM Municipal Trial Court in Cities with recommended bail fixed at P36,000.
