4 men nabbed for illegal waste dumping in Tanza
TANZA, Cavite — Four persons were arrested by operatives of the Tanza PNP for illegal dumping of waste at a vacant and grassy lot in Brgy. Lambingan here on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
Officer-on-case (OOC) Police Staff Sergeant Francis Mark Cortez identified the suspects as Ricky E. Mendrez, 50, driver; Antonio M. Magsumbol, 45, driver; Ronel J. Esteves, 31, truck helper and Warren Calupo Norcio, 36, truck helper.
The suspects were arrested after they were caught in dumping waste materials in the area.
The suspects failed to produce permits nor documents for the illegal disposal of waste.
The waste waa in their dump.
Tanza Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) head Menandro R. Dimaranan, 58, had complained to local authorities on the illegal dumping of the waste from two dump trucks.
