FOUR ‘high-value targets’ in Metro Manila were arrested and yielded more than two kilograms of shabu valued at nearly P15 million in two anti-narcotics operations Friday in Taguig and Valenzuela cities.

Philippine Drug Enforcement chair, Director General Moro Virgilio M. Lazo said Napisa Bora Mabalawag, 40, of Lumbabayabao, Lanao del Sur, was arrested in a sting in front of the Jinyi Import and Export Trading Co. Inc. located on Mindanao Avenue in Barangay Ugong, Valenzuela City.

The suspect was placed under arrest after she sold a kilo of shabu worth P6.8 million to an undercover officer of the PDEA National Capital Region. A search of the suspect’s vehicle led to the recovery of another kilo of the same drug.

Another operation conducted by PDEA Region 3 officer on F. Manalo Street in Taguig City resulted in the arrest of Alexander Flores, 33, of Taguig City; Jayson Torrevilla, 35, of Cainta, Rizal; and Maricar Marcelino,39, of Mandaluyong City after they conspired to sell 200 grams of shabu worth P1.360 million to a poseur.

All arrested drug offenders were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for the sale and possession of prohibited drugs.
