4 Chinese suspects, P3.5B shabu seized in Zambales
FOUR Chinese nationals suspectes in involvement in drug trafficking activities were killed while more then P3.5 billion worth of shabu were seized during a buy-bust operation Candelaria, Zambales.
Reports reaching Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Director, P/Brig. Gen. Val de Leon identified the killed suspects as Gao Manzhu, 49k,; Hong Jiashe, 58,; Eddie Tan, 60,and Xu Youhua, 50, all from Fujian, China. They were and temporary residents of 23 Standford Village, Quezon City.
The operation was conducted at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday when government anti-narcotics operatives managed to negotiate for the purchase of shabu.
The four Chinese nationals died on the spot after they allegedly tried to fight it out with the police, military and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in an alleged bid to escape.
The confiscated 500 kilograms of shabu was the biggest drug haul this year in a single operation.
De Leon once again lauded the law enforcers for the successful operation saying they will continously conduct proactive oeprations to achieve its quest for a drug-free Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, PNP chief, PGen. Guillermo Eleazar commended the police teams who worked closely with the PDEA and other police units for the successful anti-illegal drug operations.
