3rd, 4th wanted drug suspects in QC nabbed
QUEZON City Police District (QCPD) arrested the No. 4 and No. 8 Station Level Drug Priority Targets and three others in three separate buy-bust operations.
La Loma Police Station (PS 1) under PLTCOL Garman Manabat identified the No. 4 Station Level Drug Priority Target as Eric Tala Baetiong, 37 y/o and the No. 8 as Edmond Cumbe Espiritu, 32 y/o, both residents of Brgy. Apolonio Samson, Quezon City.
Report showed that an informant reported about the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects which prompted them to set a buy-bust operation at about 2:30 a.m., November 26, 2022, at Sampaguita St. corner Kaingin Rd., Brgy. Apolonio Samson, Quezon City in coordination with PDEA-RONCR.
An undercover cop posed as poseur buyer and bought a sachet of shabu from the suspects and at the given pre-arranged signal, they were arrested.
Aside from the buy-bust money, seized were seven sachets of shabu valued at Php3,400.00.
Meanwhile, Cubao Police Station (PS 7) under PLTCOL Joseph Euje Almaquer arrested Edgar Bate, 46, a resident of Brgy. San Martin De Porres, Cubao, Quezon City, in a buy bust operation at about 6:40 PM, November 26, 2022, along Griego Alley corner Betsaida Alley, Brgy. San Martin De Porres, Cubao, Quezon City. Confiscated were more or less two grams of shabu amounting to Php13,600.00, and the buy-bust money.
Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13) under PLTCOL Roldante Sarmiento arrested Jennifer Cañares Garcia, 45 y/o, and Marvie Jumao-as Eluzon, 37 y/o, both residents of Brgy. Payatas B, Quezon City, in another buy-bust operation at about 12:30 PM, November 26, 2022, at Lupang Pangako, Brgy. Payatas B, Quezon City. Confiscated were three sachets of shabu valued at Php6,800.00, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
