A GYM was found operating amid the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), which resulted in the arrest of total of 32 gym goers during a raid conducted by Pasig Police on Friday.

Based on a police report, policemen raided Kixstart Fitness Gym located on 0344-B Amang Rodriguez Avenue in Barangay Manggahan, Pasig at around 5:30 p.m.

Investigators said one of the arrested individuals was the owner of the gym.

All the people inside the gym were given citation tickets for violating ECQ protocols such as social distancing, Pasig Police said.

The raid was conducted following tip from a concerned citizen, that the gym was operating despite the fact that such establishmentd in the metropolis were not allowed to operate under ECQ.

Right after the violators were issued citation tickets, the said gym was immediately shut down by the Pasig City Hall.

On August 13, a total 41 individuals were caught violating quarantine regulations by holding a birthday party at the Royana Events Place in Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig.
