Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga –The persistent campaign on anti-terrorism of the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) resulted in the voluntary denouncement of 30 members of the Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (KADAMAY) operating in Bulacan.

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon said joint personnel of the 301st MC, RMFB3, San Jose Del Monte CPS, 1st PMFC 2nd PMFC Bulacan PPO, 24th SAC PNP-SAF, PIU Bulacan, and San Rafael MPS facilitated the withdrawal of support of members of the group from the CPP-NPA-NDF.

The continuous anti-insurgency efforts of the DILG being carried out by the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Army such as information dissemination and situational interview changed the views of members of the group on the government.

The Central Luzon police chief commended the members of the agencies under the RTF-ELCAC 3 for the successful anti-insurgency operation.
