3 nabbed, fake Bacoor stickers seized

BACOOR CITY, Cavite – Three were arrested while fake stickers on Black Saturday were seized in an entrapment operation of the Bacoor police in Bgy. Talon Dos, Las Piñas City.

Arrested were alias “Larry,” Onia Frial, and Ose Gura Jr.

The three are facing falsification of public documents and violations of City Ordinance 255-2023 and Article 15, Section 168 of Republic Act 7394.

Prior to the sting, the Bacoor local government unit requested police’ assistance regarding the illegal sale of Bacoor Solidarity Stickers on social media platform.

Intelligence operatives of the Bacoor City Police Office conducted an entrapment and arrested alias “Larry.”

Frial and Gura were nabbed in a follow-up operation.

Seized were P1,500 dusted money, 570 pieces of Strike solidarity route sticker worth P285,000, five rolls of 520 pieces uncut stickers worth P156,000, 296 pieces of PV HAI sticker worth P134,000, 1,290 pieces of Las Piñas Friendship Route sticker worth P644,500, 145 pieces of BF Resort Village 2024 stickers worth P72,500, 240 pieces of BFFHAI sticker worth P120,000., three cellphones, and a yellow Yamaha Mio Sporty motorcycle.

The stickers can be used to enter the villages in the City of Bacoor and Las Piñas to avoid traffic.

The entrapment was launched to prevent the proliferation of stickers that could be used in illegal activities.

Residents were advised to get the stickers through legal process.
