3 HVTs collared in Gapo drug bust

OLONGAPO CITY – Three drug suspects considered as high-value targets (HVT) on Friday were arrested and yielded around P82,800 worth of shabu in a buy-bust in Barangay Sta. Rita, this city.

PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency) Central Luzon identified the suspects as Ian De Leon, 25, of Manggahan St., Purok 1; Armando Florentino, 57, a high-value target, of Avocado St.; and Bryan Carlo Araneta alias “Totoy”, 25, also of Avocado St., – all from Bgy. Sta. Rita.

Seized from the suspects were six plastic sachets of shabu weighing 12 grams valued at P82, 800, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.

The entrapment was jointly conducted by operatives led by PDEA Central Luzon, PNP (Philippine National Police) units, and U2 Northern Luzon Command.

The three suspects will be charged with a violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
