3 fishermen seized in Naic
NAIC, Cavite — Three fishermen whose boat was capsized by heavy rains and strong winds were rescued by the Cavite Coast Guard Sunday noon in Cavite.
Lt. Micheal Encina, Coast Guard, Cavite Commander identified the rescued fishers as Bryan F. Fajardo, 15; Jomarie S. Dayrit, 27; and Jonel M. Fajado, 25, all residents of Bgy. Sapang 1, Ternate, Cavite.
The fishers were rescued by a Cavite PCG together with the MDRRMO.
“Kahit po malakas ang ulan at hangin, pumalaot po ang mga ito at sa hindi inaasaahang pangyayari, tumaob po ang banca nila ng hagpasin ng malakas na alon while entering Maragondon River. At ang sabi ko sa mga tropa, hanapin sa mga pangpang at hindi ito makakapalaot dahil sa lakas ng hangin ng habagat kaya po sila nakita sa may Barangay Labac, Naic,” said Sargeant Jayson Roflo, PCG -Maragondon Chief.
The fishermen were rescued at around 12:20 p.m. off Bgy. Labac in Naic. They are all in good condition and have been turned over to the Bgy. Capatain in Sapang 1, Ternate.
